Job summary

Compass Health Network seeks a School-Based Therapist to provide mental health services within Union schools. You will conduct individual, family, and group therapy, complete evaluations, and collaborate with school staff to support students and families.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with licensure in Missouri required (LCSW/LPC/LMFT). Join a supportive, school-centered team focused on early intervention and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a human service-related field.
• Missouri licensure as LCSW/LPC/LMFT (or provisional) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health therapy (individual, family, and/or group) to students based on their needs.
• Complete initial evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and treatment plans in collaboration with the student and family.
• Coordinate care with school staff, families, and other Compass providers to support holistic treatment.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with agency policies (within 24 hours of service delivery).
• Participate in school meetings as appropriate to advocate for student needs.
• Serve as a mental health resource and consultant to school personnel.
• Support crisis intervention needs and safety planning, with 24/7 access to Compass resources.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure wraparound care for each student.

This position serves multiple grade levels for the Schools of Washington School District.

Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Master’s degree in a human service-related field required

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

• LCSW, LPC, or LMFT (or provisional) valid in Missouri required
