Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group, LLC is seeking a School-Based Therapist to support students in Danbury, NC and nearby Walnut Cove and Sandy Ridge. You will provide clinical services within a school setting and collaborate with teachers and families to unlock each student's potential.

Starting salaries range from $54,000 for associates to $61,000 for fully licensed clinicians, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus and free weekly supervision toward licensure.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage & Family Therapy required.
• Active NC license or associate license (LCSWA, LCMHCA, LMFTA) strongly encouraged.
• Experience in school-based or student populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct mental health support: individual and group counseling, crisis intervention.
• Build partnerships with educators, parents and administrators on support plans.
• Design tailored interventions using evidence-based modalities (CBT, trauma-informed care, play therapy).
• Champion inclusion and belonging within the school climate.
• Document clinical notes and treatment plans meeting regulatory standards.
