Job summary

Red Oak Behavioral Health is seeking a licensed School-Based Therapist to join our team in Peninsula, OH. This full-time role focuses on delivering therapy to children and adolescents within school settings, with strong support for work-life balance and professional growth.

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy.
• Licensed in Ohio (LSW, LPC, MFT, LISW, PCC, IMFT).
• Experience providing therapy to children, teens, and families.

Role: School-Based Therapist - FULL TIME (40 hrs/week)

What You’ll Do:

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to children and adolescents
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and community partners to support student success
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans
• Receive ongoing supervision toward independent licensure

What You’ll Bring:

Unique Requirements

• Due to the clinical focus of this position, this employee must maintain a minimum of $1,000,000.00 / $3,000,000.00 professional malpractice liability insurance. A copy of the current rider must be available for entry into their personnel file.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license required
• Ability to work in school and community settings
