Red Oak Behavioral Health in Peninsula, OH is seeking a School-Based Therapist for a full-time role. You will provide individual, group, and family therapy to children and adolescents, and collaborate with school staff to support student success.

The position includes diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing supervision toward independent licensure, with prompt 48-hour documentation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy.
• Licensed in Ohio (LSW, PC, MFT, LISW, PCC, IMFT).
• Experience providing therapy to children, teens, and families.
• Strong documentation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for community mental health and trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

Role: School-Based Therapist - FULL TIME (40 hrs/week)

Location: Peninsula, OH

Unique Requirements

• Due to the clinical focus of this position, this employee must maintain a minimum of $1,000,000.00 / $3,000,000.00 professional malpractice liability insurance. A copy of the current rider must be available for entry into their personnel file.

• Ability to work in school and community settings
