Job summary

Compass Health Network seeks a School-Based Therapist to provide mental health services directly in school settings, serving Calloway Elementary and North Elementary in Jefferson City (Holt Summit) School District. This full-time, benefit-eligible role follows a Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm schedule and emphasizes early intervention and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a human service-related field is required.
• Missouri licensure as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT (or provisional) is required.

Empower Students to Thrive as a School-Based Therapist Full-time, benefit eligible position. The schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. As a School-Based Therapist with Compass Health Network, you'll provide mental health services directly in the school setting, helping students and families overcome challenges and build brighter futures. You'll be part of a supportive, integrated team that believes in compassionate care, clinical excellence, and the power of early intervention. This position serves the Calloway Elementary and North Elementary in Jefferson City (Holt Summit) School District.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide mental health therapy (individual, family, and/or group) to students based on their needs
• Complete initial evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and treatment plans in collaboration with the student and family
• Coordinate care with school staff, families, and other Compass providers to support holistic treatment
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with agency policies (within 24 hours of service delivery)
• Participate in school meetings as appropriate to advocate for student needs
• Serve as a mental health resource and consultant to school personnel
• Support crisis intervention needs and safety planning, with 24/7 access to Compass's crisis resources
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure wraparound care for each student

Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Master's degree in a human service-related field required

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

• LCSW, LPC, or LMFT (or provisional) valid in Missouri required
