Job summary

Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare in Evansville, IN is seeking a full-time School-Based Therapist to provide school-based assessments, therapy, and related services to children and families.

The role offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus and a choice of 10-month or 12-month schedules aligned to the school year, with summer break as applicable.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required and licensure as one of: temp LSW, LSW, LCSW, LMFT-A, LMFT, LMHC-A, or LMHC.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family and group therapy to children identified as at-risk by their school.
• Provide clinical assessment, crisis intervention, and treatment services in a school setting.
• Maintain appropriate records reflecting patient progress and treatment plans.
• Maintain documentation and submit reports within established time frames.
• Communicate professionally, make referrals and coordinate services with community agencies.
• Conduct consultation and education activities for community and professional groups as needed.
• Maintain contact with other service providers, schools, and civic organizations to enhance community awareness.

Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is currently seeking a full-time School-Based Therapist to add to our team of professionals. This position will work in our Child & Family Services Division and provide school-based assessments, therapy and other services to children and their families.

$3,000 Sign-On BONUS offered for this position!!! ($1,500 after 90 days / $1,500 after 6 months of full-time employment)

Please note that the candidate selected for this role may choose between a 10-month or 12-month position. For 10-month employees, the work schedule aligns with the school calendar (August 1 – May 31). Employees are expected to return for the next school year.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?

• This position is year-round.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Applicants must have a Master's Degree AND have one of the following licenses: temp LSW, LSW, LCSW, LMFT-A, LMFT, LMHC-A, or LMHC. Preference given to fully licensed candidates.
• Must have valid driver's license, auto insurance that meets the Indiana State minimum coverage requirement and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance.
• Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.
