Job summary

Tree of Life Family Services LLC in Northern Virginia is seeking compassionate TDT Counselors to join our school-based team in Loudoun County. You will work with children and adolescents to strengthen coping, emotional regulation, and school functioning.

The role involves individual sessions, classroom observations, family sessions, care coordination with school staff, and timely clinical documentation. A QMHP or QMHP-T registration is required or pursued; positions are full-time or part-time,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, human services, or a related field.
• Experience working with children or adolescents preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapeutic interventions, behavioral support, and skill-building activities
• Conduct individual student sessions and classroom observations
• Implement individualized treatment goals and monitor student progress
• Conduct weekly family sessions and participate in care coordination with school social workers and treatment providers
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in supervision, case consultation, meetings, and required training
• Maintain professional relationships with students, families, school staff, and the Tree of Life team
