Job summary

Chicago Public Schools is seeking a School-Based Miscellaneous employee to provide supplemental student supervision before, during and after the school day at the Southwest Side-5135 South California Avenue location. This role may assist with tutoring, reception support, data entry, and recruitment tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of related support experience, with strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage a diverse

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of related support experience.
• Experience in education, community outreach, or public service preferred.
• Experience supervising children in organized settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide student supervision and coverage (hallways, lunch, recess, etc.).
• Assist with parent outreach and school operations support.
• Support tutoring, reception, data entry, and recruitment tasks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
