Job summary

Chicago Public Schools is hiring for a School-Based Miscellaneous employee to provide supervision and coverage across the school day, including activities like hallway monitoring and lunchroom duties.

You will also assist with parent outreach, tutoring support, backup phone/reception, clerical tasks, and recruitment activities to aid overall school operations. A high school diploma and two years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of related support experience, including customer service.
• Experience in education, community outreach, public service environment, or similar organization.
• Experience supervising children in an organized setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide student supervision support and coverage (hallways, lunch, recreation, etc.).
• Assist with parent outreach and support.
• Assist with supporting overall school operations (tutoring, front desk, social media, clerical/data entry).
• Other duties as assigned.
