Job summary

Chicago Public Schools is seeking a part-time School-Based Misc employee to provide student supervision and coverage before, during and after the school day. Responsibilities span hallway monitoring, lunchroom supervision, field trips, and assisting with various school operations.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of related support experience, including customer service and collaboration in educational or community settings.

• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse student body and families.
• Ability to monitor students in hallways, lunchrooms, recess, and on school grounds.
• Willingness to support various school operations and tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide student supervision and coverage across hallways, lunchrooms, field trips, and during breaks.
• Assist with parent outreach and support.
• Assist with supporting school operations such as tutoring, reception, social media, data entry, and recruitment support.
• Other duties as assigned.
