Job summary

SAHAL SERVICES LLC is seeking a compassionate Student Support Professional / School-Based Caregiver in Carroll, OH to provide hands‑on support in an educational setting. You will work closely with teachers, families, and staff to help students thrive and stay safe throughout the school day.

The role requires direct care, collaboration, and the ability to implement positive behavioral strategies while documenting progress for appropriate personnel.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving, paraprofessional support, special education, or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or CDA a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Ability to pass a background check in accordance with school and state requirements.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a consistent presence for students.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to students with diverse needs throughout the school day.
• Assist students with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support individualized student goals.
• Monitor student behavior and implement positive behavioral support strategies.
• Document and report student progress, incidents, and observations to appropriate personnel.
• Facilitate a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom and school environment.
• Provide crisis intervention and de‑escalation support when necessary.
