Job summary

Boys Town in Omaha, Nebraska seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to screen and assess students for communication disorders, design and deliver services, and document progress within IEPs.

You will collaborate with students, parents, staff, and IEP team members to implement individualized plans, monitor progress, and maintain records while adhering to district policies and Nebraska state regulations.

A hiring bonus of $2,500 is offered to selected candidates.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CCC from ASHA required.
• Current Nebraska Teaching Certificate with SLP endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation and service plans for students with communication disorders.
• Identify and evaluate disorders; develop and implement individualized plans to improve speech and language skills.
• Maintain accurate records as required by laws, policies, and regulations.
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, administration, and staff regarding progress and concerns.
• Direct therapy sessions including articulation, voice, fluency therapy.
• Maintain IEP documents and monitor progress toward goals.
