Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to cover maternity leave for the 2026–2027 school year. The contract runs Aug 10, 2026 to early November, serving K–8 students at two nearby campuses.

You will manage a 7-hour day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, collaborating with staff and families to deliver IEP-directed services across two school settings.

Qualifications

• Must hold Indiana SLP license.
• CCC-SLP certification required.
• Experience in school settings (K-8) preferred.
• Strong assessment, evaluation, and intervention skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage caseloads and schedule flexibly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to students as prescribed in IEPs.
• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations; contribute to eligibility determinations.
• Collaborate with educators, parents and support teams to optimize outcomes.
• Document student progress and complete required paperwork.
• Provide services across elementary and intermediate/middle school settings.

Job description

An exciting opportunity is open for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide maternity leave coverage for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. This contract position runs from August 10, 2026, through the first week of November and serves students at two neighboring campuses: an elementary school and an intermediate/middle school, both conveniently located within walking distance of each other.

As the contract SLP, you will support approximately 90 students in grades K–8. You’ll have autonomy in managing a 7-hour workday (plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch), allowing you to coordinate your own daily schedule between both campuses while maximizing your impact and efficiency.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Indiana
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working in school settings, preferably K–8
• Strong assessment, evaluation, and intervention skills
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and schedule services flexibly
