Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school setting. You will evaluate students and deliver therapy services with proper documentation per the plan of care and physician orders, coordinating with teachers and families.

Qualified candidates hold an active SLP license in the state of assignment, CCC-SLP is preferred, and CPR/health requirements must be met in accordance with state regulations and contract terms.

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in the state of assignment is required.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• CPR current if applicable.
• TB questionnaire or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Health certificate current (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations in the school setting.
• Provide and document therapy services per the plan of care and physician orders.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student needs.
