Job summary

National Heritage Academies is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with speech and language needs. The role collaborates with special education teachers, general education staff, and related service providers to implement IEP-driven services at Pembroke Academy.

The position focuses on evaluations, goal development, and progress monitoring within a school-based setting, requiring a master’s degree in SLP and ASHA CCC credentials.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) required.
• Experience with at-risk student populations.
• Experience in a school-based or pediatric environment.
• Familiarity with IEP development and collaborative service delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with special education and general education staff to support students with speech and language needs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams and IEP meetings.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and contribute to assessment planning.
• Develop and monitor individualized speech-language goals aligned with IEPs.
• Provide specially designed instruction to meet communication needs across service models.
• Maintain accurate documentation of service delivery and progress.
