LEARN Academy in Henderson, NV is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (on-site) to support students with communication needs within a school setting.

You will conduct evaluations, develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers to integrate strategies into curricula. The role emphasizes teamwork, documentation, and ongoing professional development to improve student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
• Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' communication abilities.
• Develop and implement speech and language therapy intervention plans that align with students' IEP goals.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate speech and language strategies into the curriculum.
• Contribute to the IEP process by providing insights on student progress and recommending interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student assessments, interventions, and progress.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
• Provide expertise in assistive technology and communication strategies.
• Collaborate with the special education team to ensure LRE alignment of services.
• Mentor and/or supervise assistants or students in the speech and language therapy community.
• Provide trainings to instructional and related service staff.
