Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services in a vibrant, educational setting. The contract role supports students with Autism and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to help each learner thrive.

The position is full-time (35 hours/week) with a 26-27 school-year schedule; in-person role serving ages 3–21, with potential part-time flexibility. Competitive benefits and a robust compensation package are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid NY SLP license.
• New York Teaching Certificate (TSSH or TSSLD).
• Active Medicaid/OPRA and NPI numbers.
• SLP-CCC, CFY, or commensurate school-based SLP background.
• Experience or strong interest in serving students with Autism.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat communication disorders within a school-based population.
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in cooperation with other educators and families.
• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services.
• Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Participate in school meetings and trainings as needed.
