Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to cover a maternity leave in a welcoming school environment. This full-time contract role focuses on supporting students' communication growth and collaborating with educators.

You will assess and treat speech and language disorders, participate in IEP meetings, document findings, and work with teachers, families, and staff to foster progress. A CCC is preferred; licensure required or eligible in Ohio; strong communication and compassion

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • CCC preferred; CFs considered.
  • School-based experience valued.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and adaptable with students K-12.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective IEPs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
  • Write and maintain accurate documentation and reports.
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Educate and partner with teachers, families, and support staff to foster student progress.
  • Maintain compliance with legal and ethical requirements in school settings.
