Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis in Texas to support students in a dynamic, inclusive school environment. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to individuals and groups, collaborating with teachers and families.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in SLP, state licensure, CCC-SLP preferred, and experience in schools. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work within district procedures are

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • CCC-SLP preferred, but strong CFs are welcome.
  • Prior experience in a school setting is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and language challenges.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both one-on-one and in group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster a supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions.
  • Offer guidance and education to families and staff on best practices in speech and language development.
