Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for a 10-week fall assignment in Wisconsin. You will deliver direct therapy to a caseload of about 40 students from PreK through 12th grade, perform assessments, and contribute to IEP planning.

Collaborate with teachers, families and support staff to support students’ communication goals and ensure compliance with school and state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current SLP-CCC certification preferred.
• State licensure or eligibility for school-based practice required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 40 students.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEP).
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate goal achievement.
• Maintain detailed records and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines.
• Provide support and consultation for staff regarding students’ communication needs.
• Adjust and tailor interventions for students ranging from preschoolers through high school seniors.

This position offers a 10-week leave coverage starting September 1, with a manageable caseload of 40 students spanning PreK through 12th grade. Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• State licensure (or eligibility) for school-based practice as an SLP
• Experience with PreK-12th grade student populations preferred
• Strong assessment, intervention, and case management skills
• Ability to adapt communication approaches for varying developmental levels
• Excellent organizational abilities and a collaborative mindset
