Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for Anne Arundel County Public Schools in Maryland. The role involves providing comprehensive speech-language services, assessments, therapy, and instruction for students with speech-language disabilities in their natural environments.

The clinician will collaborate with the IEP/IFSP teams and other school personnel, with responsibilities including developing plans, conducting assessments, and delivering services within the Least Restrictive

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in related field of education from a regionally accredited college and university required.
• Clinical Fellowship (CF) and/or Speech Language Pathology experience required.
• Knowledge of current trends in Speech-Language Pathology for children in school settings.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and medical personnel.
• Ability to implement speech/language services within an educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy instruction to students with speech/language disabilities as stated in the IEP/IFSP.
• Develops lesson plans and materials and provides individualized and group instruction.
• Conducts speech/language assessments and prepares progress reports.
• Assists in planning and development of IFSPs/IEPs and collaborates with other providers.
• Supports Least Restrictive Environment and continuum of services.
