Job summary

LEARN Academy is seeking an onsite School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support students during the 2026-2027 school year. You will conduct evaluations, develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers to integrate language strategies into the curriculum.

You will maintain documentation, participate in team meetings, mentor assistants, and provide trainings to staff while upholding ASHA licensure requirements and best practices in school-based SLP

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
• Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Maintain license per ASHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' communication abilities (articulation, fluency, voice, language).
• Develop and implement speech-language intervention plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate speech strategies into the curriculum and provide consultative services.
• Contribute to the IEP process with progress insights and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
• Provide expertise in assistive technology to support curriculum access.
• Coordinate with the special education team to align services with LRE principles.
• Mentor and supervise assistants or students in the SLP community.
• Provide trainings to instructional and related staff.

Education
