Job summary

LEARN Academy is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with communication needs across school settings. You will evaluate students, develop and implement IEP-aligned treatment plans, and collaborate with teachers, families, and related staff to promote communication growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited program in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Maintain license per ASHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of articulation, fluency, voice, and expressive/receptive language.
• Develop and implement SLP intervention plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate speech-language strategies into curricula.
• Contribute to IEP processes by informing progress and recommending interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions and progress.
• Participate in team meetings and continue professional development.
• Provide expertise in assistive technology and communication strategies to support curriculum access.
• Mentor or supervise assistants or students in the SLP community.
• Deliver trainings to instructional and related staff.

Education

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology

ASHA licensure (or eligible)
