Job summary

Point Quest is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist for a Mitchell, IN school-based role delivering evidenced-based services to K-12 students. You’ll assess, plan, and provide therapy aligned with IEP goals, collaborating with teachers, families, and an in-house clinical team to promote lasting communication outcomes throughout the school year.

Qualifications

• Current SLP license in Indiana or eligible to obtain
• Indiana Department of Education SLP license
• Criminal and DCS background checks
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members
• Provide direct speech therapy services aligned with IEP goals
• Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews
• Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation
• Supervise and support SLPAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable)
