Job summary

Orchard School in Yonkers, NY is seeking a part-time Speech Language Pathologist to provide direct individual and group therapy aligned with IEP goals, conduct screenings, and document progress. The role requires licensure and CI wave certification as appropriate and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

The SLP will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, complete daily progress notes, and manage all paperwork related to IEP/CSE processes while supporting literacy development and language

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology required.
• New York State license in Speech and Language Pathology required.
• CCC and teaching-SSLD certifications preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage caseload effectively.
• Screen students for speech and language difficulties.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to create IEPs.
• Provide interventions aligned with IEP goals.
• Develop treatment strategies and monitor progress.
• Maintain accurate records and required documentation.
• Coordinate with staff and families for classroom interventions.
• Support self-regulation and campus-wide approaches.
• Contribute to organizational strategic plans.
