Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences.
• Holds or is eligible for North Carolina licensure.
• CCC from ASHA, or CFY in progress.
• Experience with school-aged children a plus.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication abilities for collaboration with staff, students, and families.
• Adaptability and enthusiasm for working within diverse school environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students referred for speech and language services.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
• Provide direct therapy, both in groups and individually, targeting speech, language, and communication goals.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related professionals to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and adjust therapy approaches as needed.
• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
