Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract covering August 10th to November 3rd, supporting early childhood and kindergarten students in a 32.5-hour school week. The role includes assessing students, developing IEPs, and delivering therapy with collaboration among teachers, SPED staff, and families.

Job Description

A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist interested in supporting early childhood and kindergarten students. This assignment spans from August 10th to November 3rd, covering a maternity leave and offering the chance to make a meaningful difference in a key stage of student development.

The school setting offers approximately 32.5 hours each week (8:30 am to 3:30 pm) and involves working with a caseload of around 35 students. You’ll primarily be addressing needs related to developmental delays (DD), specific learning disabilities (SLD), other health impairments (OHI), and speech or language impairments (SLI).

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathology endorsement
  • Previous experience in school-based settings, particularly with early childhood or kindergarten age groups
  • Familiarity with students who have a range of disabilities, including DD, SLD, OHI, and SLI
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently
  • Comfort with virtual interview processes
