Qualifications

  • Effective teamwork and leadership capabilities, especially in supervision roles.

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to determine students’ needs and guide intervention planning.
  • Develop, write, and update individualized education programs (IEPs), ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements.
  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language services, adapting interventions to meet diverse student needs.
  • Collaborate meaningfully with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress across academic and social settings.
  • Supervise and mentor the assigned SLPA, offering ongoing feedback and guidance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate actively in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings.
