Job summary

Randolph Public Schools is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive services to students at Martin E. Young Elementary School in Randolph, MA. The role focuses on assessment, therapy planning, and collaboration with teachers to support communication needs.

The ideal candidate holds MA licensure in Speech-Language-Hearing Disorders, ASHA Certification, and a master's degree. Experience with AAC devices and inclusive practices is preferred, with duties including family

Qualifications

  • Licensed in Speech, Language, & Hearing Disorders by the MA DESE and ASHA certification.
  • Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Commitment to equity and inclusive practices.
  • Strong knowledge of service delivery for a variety of communication needs.
  • Familiarity with AAC devices.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Experience sharing findings with families in family‑friendly language.
  • Open and responsive to feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Provides a thorough assessment and diagnosis of speech, voice, hearing, and language impairments.
  • Develops a therapeutic program and objectives to meet individual needs; collaborates with teachers to implement therapy.
  • Maintains ongoing records of students receiving therapy and maintains referrals with outside agencies as needed.
  • Serves as a resource to staff in developing a balanced oral communication program and counsels families as appropriate.
  • Maintains professional competence through development activities and re-certification requirements.
  • Participates in meetings and district initiatives to support district goals.
  • Works with ASD students in sub separate and inclusive settings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal and Director of Special Education.
