Job summary

ConnectedHealth in John Day, OR seeks an in-person Speech-Language Pathologist for a 36-week school contract. You will provide school-based therapy aligned with IEP goals, collaborate with teachers and families, and document progress across district sites.

Requirements include a Master's in SLP, current Oregon SLP licensure, and at least 1 year of school-based experience, with familiarity with IEP processes.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Oregon Speech-Language Pathologist licensure.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in speech-language pathology.
• Experience in a school setting and familiarity with IEP processes.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage a school-based caseload and maintain accurate, timely documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and district guidelines.
• Complete evaluations, interpret results, and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with staff, teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress.
• Maintain timely documentation, including session notes, progress reports, and Medicaid billing requirements.
• Deliver services in classrooms, therapy rooms, and other educational settings across district sites.
