Job summary

Anne Arundel County Public Schools is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive speech-language services for students in the school setting, with responsibilities across assessment, therapy, and instruction within IEP/IFSP teams.

The position may be 10 or 12 months depending on assignment and involves travel to home, community, and school-based settings during normal business hours.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or related field).
• CF and/or Speech-Language Pathology experience required.
• Active SLP license and CCC-SLP per ASHA.
• Within 10 days, obtain NPI.
• Hold or be eligible for MD Driver's License.
• Daily access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to students per IEP/IFSP in natural environments.
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials and provide individualized/group instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues on goals and objectives for students.
• Assess progress with tests, measurements, and observations and provide progress reports.
• Assist in planning IFSPs/IEPs and support other providers.
• Travel across the county to provide services in home, community, and school settings.
