Job summary

Amplus Academy in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Speech/Language Pathologist to identify, assess, and plan interventions for students with speech and language impairments under the direction of the Assistant Principal.

The successful candidate will implement IEP-based clinical programs, collaborate with ESS/RTI teams, and ensure compliance with ASHA guidelines and state standards. This 10-month contract emphasizes student-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required, with licensure in Nevada.
• ASHA CCC and NV state license preferred or in process.
• Experience in evaluating speech and language impairments and IEP-based planning.

Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct identification programs for students with potential speech/language difficulties.
• Evaluate speech and language functions and plan clinical interventions.
• Implement the clinical program for identified students.
• Complete IEP paperwork in a timely manner and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with ESS/RTI teams, school staff, and families to support progress.
• Ensure compliance with state standards, ASHA guidelines, and school policies.
• Provide therapeutic intervention to enhance student performance.
