Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district in the El Monte area. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity where you’ll help students develop communication skills for academic and social success.

Whether you’re an experienced school-based SLP or transitioning into pediatrics, we’d love to hear from you! The role requires an active CA SLP license; CCC-SLP is preferred and CF candidates may be considered depending on

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active CA license.
• CCC-SLP preferred; CF candidates may be considered per district needs.
• Pediatric/school-based experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
• Provide consultation to teachers, staff, and families.
• Ensure services comply with district, state, and federal regulations.
