Job summary

RiseBoro Community Partnership seeks a licensed Social Worker to join our school-based teams at Beacon and IS 349 in north Brooklyn. This role is funded by the NYLEAPS initiative to enhance social, emotional, and mental health services for youth and their families within the school setting.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• New York State LMSW Licensure or SIFI required.
• At least 2 years of experience in youth settings, working directly with students and families.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, local agencies, and resources to support families.
• Collaborate with RiseBoro leadership, school administration, teachers, staff, and community organizations.
• Conduct assessments of family needs and provide targeted support.
• Supervise MSW internship program and mentor interns.
• Lead workshops and events to engage families and the community.
