Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, is a premier provider of education services for K-12 students who require additional supports to overcome challenges that impede success in a traditional school setting.

SESI partners with school districts to run in-district classrooms and standalone schools that meet the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of special and alternative education students.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, human services, or related field (mental health, psychology, counseling).
• 2 years of experience working with children and adolescents in a school, special education, or behavior health setting preferred.
• Professional licensure as listed (LPC/LCPC, LCSW/LMSW, LMFT/LMHC, LCMHC).

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Provide individual, group, or push-in counseling services.
• Collaborate on creating IEPs, including social-emotional goals and meeting participation.
• Complete social-emotional and behavior assessments and develop BIPs and transition plans.
• Implement behavior management strategies, de-escalation, and crisis interventions as needed.
• Support social-emotional learning through curricula and targeted support.
• Provide in-service training with clinical teams and collaborate with external partners.
• Maintain student files per regulatory requirements.
