Job summary

The SPEAK Center for Language and Learning is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant in Houston, TX. In this role, you will support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in evaluating and treating students with IEPs. Responsibilities include assisting in therapy sessions, implementing treatment plans, and documenting progress. Ideal candidates should have an Associate's degree, certification eligibility, and experience with pediatric populations. This position offers training opportunities and is committed to enhancing children's communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field; Bachelor's preferred.
• Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant or eligibility for certification.
• Experience working with pediatric populations and a passion for helping children.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed SLPs in conducting therapy sessions with students.
• Implement treatment plans and therapy techniques as directed.
• Monitor and document students' progress and responses.
