Job summary

Boston Speech Therapy is seeking a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support licensed SLPs in a school-based setting. This 1099 contract role offers flexible hours and competitive hourly pay ranging from $50 to $55, commensurate with experience.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of clinical or school-based SLPA experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. 35 to 40 hours per week are available.

Qualifications

• Current state certification or licensure as an SLPA.
• 1–2 years of experience in a clinical or school setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Proficient organizational abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Speech Language Pathologists in assessing and evaluating clients.
• Implement and deliver treatment plans to improve speech and language skills.
• Maintain thorough documentation and monitor client progress regularly.
• Collaborate with school staff and other professionals to ensure coordinated service delivery.
• Educate clients and their families on communication strategies and resources.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
