ACM Staffers in Massachusetts seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a locally owned, therapist-led team in the Boston area.
The SLPA will work under supervision of a licensed SLP to provide individual and small-group therapy, track progress toward IEP goals, and help prepare therapy materials for students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders.

The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supports the delivery of speech and language services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting communication development to help students achieve educational and functional goals. The SLPA reports to the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and Head of School and will work primarily with the SLP for service-related needs.
Should be able to sit for long periods of time, write extensively, talk for long periods of time, and be able to communicate with other agency personnel, LEA representatives, families, and children. Should be able to react quickly, lift and carry up to 20 pounds, climb stairs, and physically restrain children.
