Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Texas is seeking a licensed SLPA for a 1099 independent contractor role serving students in school settings under the supervision of a licensed SLP. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with coursework meeting Texas SLPA licensing requirements.
• Active Texas Assistive in Speech-Language Pathology license (TDLR).
• Knowledge of speech and language development and student progress documentation.
• Ability to follow SLP-developed therapy plans and maintain records.
• Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement speech-language therapy activities under supervising SLP.
• Use supervisor-approved activities to practice targeted skills.
• Carry out activities to apply skills in classroom routines.
• Collect progress data and share observations with the supervising SLP.
• Prepare therapy materials and organize lesson activities.
• Collaborate with SLP and school staff to ensure consistency.
