Job summary

Mesa Public Schools in Mesa, Arizona is seeking a Speech Language Pathology Assistant to support the SLP with direct therapy and classroom-based services. You will assist with assessments, document progress, and help prepare materials for documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in an ASHA-aligned SLPA program or related bachelor degree.
• Evidence of strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in school-based settings and support SLPs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy assistance following SLP plans and IEP protocols.
• Assist with informal documentation and progress reporting to the SLP.
• Collect data for assessments and prepare materials for documentation.
• Attend IEP meetings as appropriate and support classroom-based services.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform related duties as assigned.
