Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
• Current SLPA licensure/certification as required by the state.

• Ability to work independently while following the direction of a supervising Speech Language Pathologist.
• Commitment to supporting diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals.
• Support students with communication, language, articulation, and related speech needs.
• Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records within the district's charting system.
• Collaborate with Speech Language Pathologists, teachers, administrators, and support staff.
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations to supervising clinicians.
• Maintain compliance with district policies and special education requirements.
• Support positive student engagement and learning outcomes.
