Job summary

Strides Therapy & Educational Services is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Riverview, FL. You will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with teachers and families to support student communication goals.

The role requires FL SLP licensure and ASHA CCC-SLP (CF eligible). We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive, therapist-owned team committed to student success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Florida state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, unless CF.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based speech-language pathology interventions to improve articulation, fluency, language, and overall communication.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and school team to support classroom participation and social interaction.
• Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate parents and staff on strategies to carry over skills into daily classroom activities.
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and billing documentation.
• Stay current with research and best practices in school-based SLP services.
• Participate in IEP meetings and school-based professional development.
• Ensure compliance with regulations governing school-based services.
