Job summary

EDU Healthcare in Chicago Ridge, IL is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support district partners for the upcoming school year. You will evaluate, diagnose, and provide direct therapy to students, while developing IEPs and collaborating with teachers and families to enhance communication, language and academic development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active IL SLP license or eligibility to obtain prior to start.
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Knowledge of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and educational service delivery.
• Work in a structured, school-based setting with built-in school holidays.
• Collaborate closely with educators and support staff to make a direct impact on student success.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student. needs
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals
• Maintain detailed records and progress reports per policies
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on goals and progress
• Stay current with best practices and continue professional development as required
