Job summary

The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit #23 is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Speech and Language Pathologist to work within the Office of Student Services. The role begins January 2027 and involves direct student services in a school setting across Montgomery County, PA.

The position supports assessments, IEPs, and collaboration with families and professionals. Required PA certification and clearances accompany preferred Spanish language skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology required.
• PA certification in Speech & Language Pathology required.
• Eligible for PA state licensure.
• Spanish speaking strongly preferred.
• Experience with delivering speech services to school-age children preferred.
• Current Police, Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct service to students with speech and language disorders.
• Evaluate students in speech and language areas as needed.
• Consult with parents and other professionals regarding speech and language.
• Write IEPs and re-evaluation reports.
• Participate in IEP meetings.
