Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist for a long-term substitute assignment near Groton, CT. You will provide direct therapy to diverse students, collaborate with teachers and families, and contribute to meaningful IEP goals in a supportive school environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, documentation, and adapting interventions to each child's needs, with opportunities to grow clinically and professionally within a respected school-based program.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active state SLP licensure (or eligibility).
• SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials welcomed.
• Previous school-based experience preferred, but strong new graduates considered.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in group and one-on-one settings.
• Conduct evaluations and assessments to develop and monitor IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and progress.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable input to student plans.
• Adapt interventions to meet each student's unique needs.
