CareerNerds, LLC is assisting a Bronx, NY school in hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). The role welcomes new grads and offers full-time, day-shift work with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, planning IEP-driven interventions, delivering therapy, collaborating with teachers and families, and maintaining documentation for IEP meetings. Requires NY licensure and ASHA CCC-SLP.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current New York licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• CCC-SLP certification from ASHA.
• Strong understanding of child development and typical speech and language milestones.
• Pediatric experience preferred, but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized tests and observations to identify and assess speech and language difficulties.
• Intervention Planning: Develop IEPs with goals, therapy strategies, and measurable outcomes.
• Therapy Delivery: Provide individual or group therapy with articulation drills, language stimulation, and play-based interventions.
• Collaboration & Consultation: Work with teachers, parents, and professionals to support student communication needs.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain progress records and write reports for IEP meetings.
