Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to work directly with students in a Galt, CA school. You will evaluate and treat speech, language, and communication disorders, and collaborate with teachers and families to implement IEPs and drive meaningful progress throughout the school day.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology with a CA license or eligibility, and CCC-SLP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Active California SLP license or eligibility to obtain before start.
• CCC-SLP certification is preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and educational service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs.
• Provide direct therapy to students in individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student goals.
• Maintain detailed records and progress reports per policies.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on goals and progress.
• Stay current with best practices and ongoing professional development.
