Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks School-Based Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2026-2027 school year in Phoenix, AZ. The role supports both elementary and secondary students with IEP-driven therapy.

Positions are full-time, with a 36-week contract and a 37.5-hour workweek. Start date: August 31, 2026. Licensure and CCC-SLP credentials preferred. Competitive pay up to $63/hour for local candidates.

Qualifications

• Active SLP license in the assigned state.
• CCC-SLP credential preferred or may be required by state/contract.
• Current CPR certification, if applicable.
• TB screening or chest X-ray as required.
• Current health certificate, if required.
• Meets all federal, state and local employment requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned to IEP goals.
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services according to IEPs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, admins, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning.
• Monitor progress and adjust approaches as needed.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and practices.

Education

Active SLP License in state of assignment

CCC-SLP preferred / may be required
