Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to work full-time in a school setting in Alabama. This position offers H1B sponsorship for eligible candidates and a opportunity to impact student success.

You will evaluate and assess, design therapy plans, collaborate with teachers and families, and participate in IEP meetings to support individualized services. A Master's in Speech-Language Pathology and state licensure are required; CFY welcomed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Valid State License in Speech-Language Pathology (or active eligibility); CCC-SLP preferred (CFYs welcome to apply).
• Prior experience in a pediatric or school setting is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate & Assess: Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments to identify individual student needs.
• Targeted Intervention: Design and deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy plans tailored to diverse learning styles.
• Team Collaboration: Partner closely with educators, specialists, and parents to integrate communication goals into the classroom.
• Progress Tracking: Monitor, document, and celebrate student growth, adapting strategies to ensure continuous improvement.
• IEP Leadership: Active participation in IEP meetings to advocate for tailored educational plans and accommodations.
