Job summary

Ampersand Therapy in Moline, IL is hiring a full-time Speech Language Pathologist for a school setting to evaluate skills, deliver therapy, monitor progress, and support student outcomes under IEP guidance.

The role is 1.0 FTE (35 hours/week, M-F) with potential hybrid work; requires IL PEL with School SLP endorsement and a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology; collaboration with teachers and families is key.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School SLP endorsement.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Strong oral and written communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy services to assigned students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs and IEP goals.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and data.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication and learning.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to service recommendations.
• Maintain compliant and confidential student records in accordance with regulations.
• Support a range of student communication needs across school settings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support student success.
